KWIBOHORA31 Celebrated with Rwandans and Friends of Rwanda

On 12 July 2025, the 31st anniversary of Rwanda’s Liberation Day —Kwibohora31— was commemorated in the Netherlands under the unifying theme: “Rwanda's journey continues.”

The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in the Netherlands and the Rwandan Community Abroad in the Netherlands, and was held at the Ambassador’s Residence in Wassenaar.

His Excellency Ambassador Lambert Dushimimana, along with the Embassy team and the Rwandan Community committee, warmly welcomed over 100 guests, including Rwandan nationals living in the Netherlands and Friends of Rwanda from various walks of life. The gathering was marked by a spirit of unity, reflection, and forward-looking optimism for Rwanda’s continued progress.
